Sheridan PSB students can earn a FactSet Certificate!
FactSet offers a certification course called FactSet Essentials: Core Products. It's an ideal certification for Sheridan students that want to get more serious about FactSet. This certification will teach you how to use the FactSet tool in different asset classes, including equities and fixed income. The course is made up of four chapters that end with quizzes to test your knowledge, and there is a final cumulative exam. The course content takes about two hours to complete and learners are allowed a maximum of two attempts at completing the exam. This course is designed for FactSet subscribers only. To access the course, you will need to create and FactSet e-learning ID on the FactSet e-learning website.
Steps to getting started
1. Click on the FactSet e-learning url: https://learning.factset.com
2. Create an e-learning ID using your @sheridancollege.ca email address
3. Login to the e-learning portal, click on FactSet Certificates (see screenshot above)
4. Start your course
- FactSet Essentials: Core Products certification (must log into the e-learning website first)
- Other FactSet certification courses (must log into the e-learning website first)
