MOOCs are online courses that are open to anyone to take on the Internet. Courses can generally be taken for free but a fee may be required for earning a certificate of recognition. MOOCs are often taught by partnered universities and organizations in many university-level subjects such as physics, humanities, medicine, biology, business, computer science, digital marketing, and data science.
