Sheridan Supports and Services

Self-Care & Wellness

Incorporating self-care and wellness practices every day can help you cope with all aspects of life.

Tips for Self-care and Wellness While Learning Remotely

  • Keep up with a routine and stick to a schedule. Identifying a daily and weekly schedule can help make it easier for you to engage in other practices that are supportive to your well-being.
  • Connect and check-in with your family and friends through video calls, texts and emails.
  • Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories.
  • Take care of your body and mind. Do your best to maintain your physical activity by exercising regularly, getting a good night's sleep, eating at regular intervals and practicing personal hygiene.
  • Keep a positive mindset by creating self-care activities that you enjoy, such as playing games with your family, reading a book, journaling, or meditation.
