If an item in our catalogue is not currently available at your campus library or if it is checked out by another user, borrowers may place a hold on the item to have it delivered to their preferred campus. Holds may be placed in person, by phone, or online.
Library items may take 3-5 days to arrive at your campus, and will remain on hold at your campus for one week.
To place an item on hold online:
- Log in to My Library Account
- Locate the item in the library catalogue
- Click the Place Hold link on the left-hand side
- Log in to your My Library Account when prompted
- Select preferred campus location for pickup from Pickup at dropdown menu
- Select Expiration date
- Click Place Hold button
- Click OK
- You can view your holds request under your Account Summary
NOTE: AV materials, reserve and reference items cannot be placed on hold.
