Curio provides fantastic Canadian documentaries and informational programming across all subject areas from CBC Canada and CBC-Radio in this newly released collection.  Please note that our subscription does not include the News In Review content, at this time. Additional CBC content can be found in the CBC Digital Archive, which is open to the public. 

How do I?

Copy the Direct Link or Embed Code

  1. From the Databases A-Z list, select Curio
  2. Find the video you are intersted in
  3. On the right side of the video, select the Share share button
  4. Copy and paste the direct link, or embed code from the pop up

FAQ for Instructors

Can I add a video to SLATE?

Yes. You can link to the video using the link provided via Curio (directions above).

Can I stream this for my students while in class?

Yes. Streaming in a classroom setting is permitted.

Browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari
