Sheridan Library's CAPS Instructor Newsletter: How I can help you

My name is Sandra Shoufani, and I am the CAPS Liaison Librarian.  My primary role at Sheridan is to help you help your students complete their assignments, essays and reports using Sheridan’s awesome library resources. Here are a few ways I can work with you:

• CLASSROOM VISITS: Invite me as a guest lecturer in your class to lead them through a workshop on research skills.  My presentation can be targeted to your assignment OR I can provide a basic orientation of the Sheridan Library.  I can also talk about any library-related topic including citation, evaluating websites, etc.  I am available to visit your classes evenings or weekends on any campus

• CUSTOM ONLINE RESEARCH GUIDES:  I can develop custom Research Guides that support your courses or subjects.  For example: 

  • Here's a Course Research Guide developed for the Labour Relations course

  • Here's a Certificate Research Guide developed for the Adult Education program
