Material ConneXion Library

About the Collection

Sheridan is the first in Canada to offer a Material ConneXion Library.  Hundreds of sample materials give students the opportunity to see and touch what's new and innovative in the material world. More information, including manufacturers' contacts and sustainability properties, can be found on our Material ConneXion database.

Categories

Materials in the library and on the on-line database are organized into categories by their chemical properties rather than application. This allows students from diverse programs to make use of the same library. Watch the videos and see the category guide below to get an understanding of what is in each category.

These 8 Material ConneXion videos explain each category. Pull down the menu on the top right-hand corner for a list of videos.
