Research Digital Wall

The Digital Wall at Trafalgar Road Campus highlights and celebrates the dynamic scholarship, research, and creative activities of Sheridan faculty and students. Digital Wall exhibits are an opportunity for you to tell your story and share your journey with the Sheridan community – to summarize the key elements of the project, what made it unique, the big takeaways or lessons learned.

There are many benefits to contributing your work to the Digital Wall, including:

  1. Collaboration

Sharing your work encourages creative collaboration with scholars and creators around the world and here at Sheridan. Connecting within and across disciplines opens up new possibilities.

  2. Increased Visibility and Dissemination

Unlike other communication channels, the Digital Wall resides in our physical spaces, where hundreds of students and faculty pass by on a daily basis. As a result, the Digital Wall can increase the visibility and dissemination of your work.

  3. Preservation

Content posted on the Digital Wall is uploaded to YouTube, ensuring digital stability by preserving the key highlights of your work.

  4. Showcasing Sheridan

Contributing works to the Digital Wall helps scholars, researchers, the creative community, and prospective students, from diverse backgrounds and locations, easily discover what makes us unique.

Current Sheridan faculty, staff, and administration are encouraged to:

  • Contribute their own research, scholarship, and creative works.
  • Contribute exemplary student work that reflects Sheridan’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

Examples of projects that can be featured on the Research Digital Wall include:

  • A community event as part of a research project
  • Knowledge mobilization initiatives to promote a journal article
  • Highlights from a manual for practitioners
  • Key findings in a research study
  • Collaboration with an industry partner on a capstone project
  • Stories from students about their learning process and featured works
  • Creative designs that Digital Wall viewers can interact with

The Digital Wall Team curates projects affiliated with Sheridan, in supported formats, and conforming to copyright legislation.
