Multiple Choice

Multiple Choice questions are quite common in college, particularly in midterms and exams.

While these types of questions might seem to be the easiest to answer, multiple choice tests are often designed in a way where you might second-guess your answers.

Multiple Choice Quick Tips

  • Read the question without looking at the answers.
  • Eliminate answers you know are incorrect.
  • Read all the choices before answering.
  • Stick with your initial answer if you find you're second-guessing yourself.
  • Read the question fully with each answer.
  • When the question is negative, change it to a positive to help with answering.
  • When in doubt, just guess! It's better to choose any answer than to leave it blank.
