Linking to Other Resources
Most database vendors provide the option to create a persistent link to an item record or full-text article.
Find step-by-step instructions for:
- Material Connexion This link opens in a new windowFor persistent link, email result of choice to yourself and it will appear in the body of the email.
Material Connexion
- Go to the Library Services Website
- Click Databases A-Z
- Choose Material connexion from the list of databases
- Conduct a search and find a product
- Click on the Share link above the product description, then More
- Copy the URL and paste in the appropriate location with the Off-Campus Access prefix
TopOff-Campus Access Proxy
To enable access from off-campus locations, you will need to add the following prefix to the persistent link:
http://login.library.sheridanc.on.ca/login?url=
