Adobe Firefly allows you to easily create AI-generated images or transform your visuals with AI-powered tools—all by writing simple text prompts.
You can create high-quality images in a variety of styles using the Text to Image option, fill a vector outline using the Generative Fill Shape feature, remove backgrounds or visual distractions with Generative Remove, and more.
As an Adobe Creative Campus, current Sheridan students are eligible to receive a license for the Adobe CC Standard Edition to access apps enhanced by Adobe Firefly, including Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign.
Before starting this section, check your course syllabus or talk to your professor to see if AI tools are allowed in your course work, co-op projects, and other research activities.

Firefly is trained on Adobe Stock images as well as openly licensed and public domain content. Adobe states on their website that they compensate Adobe Stock contributors whose content is used in the dataset to train Firefly.
Firefly features such as image generator, generative fill, and generative extend are available in Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and other Adobe applications.
