When searching for LGBTQ+-made films in the library collection, specific names of directors or titles of films can be helpful. To identify LGBTQ directors or titles of LGBTQ+-made films, browse magazine and newspaper articles or film festival sites. For example:
Once you've got a name, then you can start searching:
Go to Advanced Search, enter the author's name, and select 'Author' from the dropdown menu next to the search box.
Search the Library for the name of the author or artist, using quotation marks (example: "Richard Wagamese").
Use keywords, such as film titles, directors, or your topic to find films related to your topic in the following databases:
