Understanding Academic Integrity

Avoiding Course-Sharing Sites

It is understandable that students want to find supplementary materials to help them study and do well in their courses. Here is what you should do instead of using course-sharing websites.

  • Check with your professor if you are unclear about an assignment or need additional help.
  • Ask your professor if you are interested in seeing previous assignments/exams as reference materials. Some professors are willing to provide these materials, but it is not always possible depending on the course.
  • Seek help from the Tutoring Centre. All Sheridan students have access to tutors who are senior-level students referred by your very own professors for the tutors' strength of knowledge and ability to help others.
