Consequences
By offloading your work to generative AI, you are not meeting the learning outcomes of the assignment and are not learning a valuable skill of summarizing and synthesizing information which your professor wants you to practice. You are not engaging with scholarly research which you were supposed to read, analyze, summarize, and discuss in relation to your research topic. You have not practiced any of those valuable skills, and you don’t deserve the grade you receive for completing this work on your own.
