Citation Managers

Citation management software can help you save time by collecting, storing, and organizing your citation information. In many cases, you can export citation information directly from the source right into the citation manager, which then allows you to automatically build a reference in a variety of standard citation styles, such as APA, MLA, or Chicago.

Always check your work!

Citation managers are only as useful as the information that is put into them. They often struggle to recognize proper capitalization or to correct errors such as multiple dates. Always check your work before submitting it!
