Art & Culture

The library carries both original works by Indigenous authors and artists, and scholarly sources that provide a critical analysis of original works of art. Books and scholarly journal articles are the primary way academics share research about art and culture. Documentaries and other educational videos can also provide context for your studies. Images of cultural artifacts and historical photographs can be helpful for visualizing the unique art and culture of Indigenous peoples. To find sources, search the library or select a specific database below. Public websites and Indigenous organizations are also listed.

Search Tips

Go to Advanced Search, enter the author's name, and select 'Author' from the dropdown menu next to the search box.
